Can Cats Eat Olive Oil If you are thinking about giving your cat some olive oil, you can, but not too much.


Cats can have olive oil, however you should give no more than a tablespoon, and you should not give it on too regular of a basis.

If you do want to give your cat some olive oil every day, give it a max of one teaspoon per day.

In moderation olive oil can be very healthy for cats, however too much will cause your cat to have diarrhea.

Many cat owners will get extra virgin olive oil for their cats. However, Salmon oil and Evening Primrose oil are two much safer oils that a cat can benefit greatly from. These oils will have the same effect on your cats coat, but are healthier, as your cats can digest them easier.
