If you are thinking of giving your cat a few sardines, you should know that they are healthy, but only in small amounts.
Sardines are healthy for cats, and cats really love them. The only issue with sardines, is that they are often packed in oils, or using salt. The salts, and oils are not healthy for cats. If, however, you have fresh sardines, or sardines that were packed in water, they are very healthy.
You should not give your cat too many sardines to eat at once. You should limit your cat to one or two pieces once a month.
If you have sardines that were packed in oil, or in salted water, make sure you give them a good rinse before giving them to your cat.
