Guinea Pigs If you are wondering if you can give your guinea pig some mushrooms, you may be interested in knowing that although they can eat most types of mushrooms, some types of mushrooms can be dangerous.

Mushrooms are neither healthy, or unhealthy for guinea pigs to eat. They contain minimal fats making them suable for guinea pigs to eat, however they have very low amounts of nutrients. Mushrooms are more of a filler food, than a health food for guinea pigs.

Never feed your guinea pig any type of wild mushroom as they can be very dangerous, and poisonous.
