About the dog:
The Pharaoh hound is a tall slim and athletic dog. These dogs are a more independant bread, but can make an excellent companion. They are peaceful indoor dogs, and love running outdoors. They are very calm if they have enough exercise. These dogs are smart, and train easily.
Dog Size and Weight:
These dogs are around 23-25 inches tall and 45-55 pounds when fully grown.
What You Should Know:
Pharaoh hound dogs can live in a small house or apartment if you give them daily walks. These dogs are loyal, however if their instincts kick in, they can take off out of a fenced yard to chase after a wild animal. Their sense of smell is incredible and will eventually lead them back home.
