Can Rabbits Eat Cucumbers?

Rabbits can eat cucumbers!

You may not know this, but cucumbers can actually be a very healthy treat for rabbits. Rabbits usually love cucumbers, however, you need to be careful not to give your rabbit too much cucumber.

Don’t be freaked out if your rabbit wont eat any cucumber. Like humans, all rabbits have their own tastes, and some will actually hate the taste of cucumbers.

Make sure you dont give your rabbit a lot of cucumber the first time you give it any cucumber. This is because there is a chance (although very small) that your rabbit could have a food allergy to them. If this is the case, your rabbit could get sick if given too much. After giving your rabbit the first slice, watch for signs of bloating (gas and or diarrhea). If you see any signs, dont give your rabbit cucumbers again. If not, they should be safe.
